Where is The Patchwork Market?

The Patchwork Market is held indoors at the Durham Armory, 220 Foster Street, Durham, NC 27701 — in the heart of Downtown Durham, across from Durham Central Park. The market happens rain or shine.

When is the market open?

Every Patchwork Market runs 12:00–4:00 PM. Market dates for the current season are on our homepage; most markets are on a Sunday, and the Holiday Market spans a full weekend in December.

Is there parking at the Durham Armory?

There’s no dedicated lot at the Armory, but parking is easy nearby: street parking along Foster and West Morgan Streets, the Durham Centre garage at 300 W. Morgan Street (corner of Morgan and Foster, one block away), and additional downtown decks within a few blocks. Downtown garages charge a flat event rate on busy days.

How much does it cost to attend?

Admission is always free, and the market is open to all ages.

What should I bring?

Vendors handle their own sales — most accept cards and mobile payments like Venmo, but some cash is always handy. A tote bag is a good idea; you’ll fill it.

Are dogs allowed?

No — to keep the market comfortable for everyone in a busy indoor space, dogs are not permitted. Trained service animals are always welcome.
